calf, cheeks, liver, thumb, wrist…
Intermediate
Calf or thigh? Wrist or forearm? Finger or thumb? While basic Body Vocabulary may be one of the first things students are introduced to when they start learning English, the more obscure parts that come later aren’t always so easy to grasp. They can, however, come in handy if ever one needs to actually describe their physical ailments to a doctor or follow basic first-aid instructions.
This useful homework sheet helps students practise Body Vocabulary through three different types of exercises.
